According to updated data from the monthly car sales in China, the sales volume of the Mini EV from the SGMW joint venture in November 2023 showed significant growth, with a total of 22,985 newly sold units, an increase of 113% compared to the previous month.
With this result, the Mini EV continues to be the leading small electric car in terms of sales in China in November 2023. Previously, in October, the SGMW joint venture's mini electric car also maintained its position as the best-selling in the minicar segment in the populous country.

Data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shows that in November, the Chinese car market continued to experience strong growth, with a total of 2.08 million new cars sold, an increase of 2.3% compared to the previous month and a 26.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
The new energy vehicle sector plays a crucial role in the development of the Chinese car market, with 552,000 electric cars and 289,000 hybrid cars sold, accounting for 40.4% of the total car sales.

In addition, with over 79,000 newly sold cars in November, the SGMW joint venture is one of the top 5 electric car manufacturers in China, surpassing world-renowned brands such as Tesla, Changan, and GAC Toyota.
Among them, the Wuling brand of the SGMW joint venture ranks in the top 3 electric vehicle brands with the best sales, with 47,846 newly sold units, holding an 8.67% market share, surpassing brands like Volkswagen, Xpeng, Nio, and Geely.
The two electric car models of the SGMW joint venture, Wuling Bingo and Mini EV, are also the fifth and sixth best-selling models in the Chinese car market, only trailing behind leading global brands like Model Y (Tesla), Seagull, and Dolphin (BYD).
